When am I entitled to meal allowance?

In the VGL collective labour agreement, we have agreed that you are entitled to a meal if you work more than 4.5 hours in a day and you continue working after 7pm.
If you are 18 years or older, you get a paid break of 15 minutes for a shift duration of 4.75, 5.00 or 5.25 hours. In this case, you may convert this break to an unpaid break of 30 minutes. You can request this from your manager so that it is adjusted in the schedule.
(It is therefore not compulsory to convert your break. Just keep in mind that if you don't convert your break, you will only have 15 minutes to get your food from the shop, walk to the canteen and eat it).
